Job Description:

• Prepare bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and review card reconciliation.
• Resolve credit card queries from bank and customers.
• Prepare Nojoom invoices and letters to Ooredoo for Nojoom vouchers used in Al Meera and QMC.
• Calculate Nojoom commission and allocate Nojoom commission to each branch based on Nojoom sales.
• Calculate provision for Nojoom compensation and allocate compensation expense to each branch based on Nojoom sales.
• Reconcile Nojoom commission and Nojoom compensation.
• Process all accounting entries related to Nojoom commission, provision for Nojoom compensation, Nojoom receipts and payments.
• Prepare letters to Bank for telex transfer for Supplier payments, Nojoom compensation payments, etc.
• Prepare letters to bank for PDC returns.
• Review credit customer agreements and prepare check list, create of accounts for new credit customers and update existing customer details as per changes in agreement.
• Check credit sales and make adjustments (reconciliation) if needed.
• Make entries for receipts from credit customer.
• Make entries and schedule for bad and doubtful debts.
• Prepare schedule for movement of credit sales and customer balance list.
• Prepare schedule for intercompany sales and making adjustment if any.
• Perform all other works as assigned by line manager.
• Visit branches and perform controls at the time of inventory counts.
• Make file for G/L, payment journal and bank deposit slip.
• Check foreign currency receipts and make adjustment entries.

Qualifications: 

• Graduate in Bachelor of Commerce

Experience: 

• At least 2-4 year’s relevant experience in Finance / Accounting function.
• Previous experience in FMCG is highly desirable.

Skills: 

• Capable of establishing and maintaining the rapport necessary tom attain company’s objectives.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Relevant experience in ERP systems.
• Capable of working in a team environment and tight deadline.
• Hardworking and patient in terms of working attitude.
